Let me tell you... If you are home user looking for a better solution for skype or skype type program... or even a business looking for a video conference solution..LOOK NO FURTHER. We use this in an enterprise environment where we have 4 small conference rooms with 50" LCD TV's setup and the quality is amazing! We use Adobe Connect for the software medium and the video quality is beyond our expectations for $200. Not only is it a true wide angle but the video itself is fantastic!!! Both my IT director and Sys Admin are highly impressed with how easy it is to use and the quality. We have already planned to order 4 more units that's how impressed we are. The big screen is on the other side of the room and I just had a problem with having an A/V guy in to run wires behind the walls, doing as best they can to hide as much of the wires as possible. I was skeptical that it would work like it did at the show. You know how companies are always rigging demonstrations to work perfectly at a booth. I got the product right away (thanks Amazon Prime) and was able to set it up this past weekend. I am running a decently powered Dell laptop with an i5 processor and 4GB of memory and I have to say that after four days of use, I am really happy with the performance. The set up wasn't to difficult. I had to make a couple of tweaks to my firewall software but with a reboot, I had it up and running in about 10 minutes.I have AppleTV which is a great product but this product is much more flexible. We will still keep the AppleTV in the den but the Warpia is set up in the family room. The webcam is really nice.
