Not only is this brand of Curcumin extract highly rated, but Amazon's price is also excellent.

When my husband's neurologist recommended taking turmeric/Curcumin to help to slow the progress of memory loss, I researched it further. Curcumin is the plant source of turmeric used in curry powder. The incidence of Alzheimer's disease in India where this spice is heavily used is the lowest in the world.

According to Indian medical studies, Curcumin decreases beta-amyloid brain plaque that is connected to Alzheimer's disease. Curcumin delays neuron decline and acts as an anti-inflammatory and antioxidant in the body. The overall memory in patients with vascular dementia and Alzheimer's disease improved.

Same brand that I buy locally for over twice the price. I bought a few bottles to save on the shipping costs, worked out well. I take one each morning for digestive problems (IBS) and the results have been very good.

I'm allergic to aspirin. After a life long use for migraines (from early childhood) all the NSAIDS now give me hives. Acetaminophen is a pain reliever, but isn't really an anti inflammatory. This is one of the recommended natural supplements for pain & inflammation, but since I have allergies to many natural herbs etc. I wasn't counting on good results. 3 weeks & my joints feel so much less painful! I've had no allergic reactions and my Dr. said turmeric is a good thing to take so I'm sticking with it! I have had a couple of migraines, but the joint pain has reduced greatly. I like it so much I just ordered this as a "gift" for a friend.
