This review is from: Taylor of Old Bond Street Pre-shave Oil [Health and Beauty] This shave oil smells fantastic, but otherwise I was disappointed. It is supposed to be "pre-shave", but I found that it was a little on the sticky side and made it difficult for the soap to go on over it. Then, during the shave, it really gummed up the blades and left a oily residue in the sink. I think if you stick with a good shave soap or cream, you don't really need the "preshave."
