This is an easy-to-use home test complete with everything you need to type one person. We even supply the alcohol swab, all you have to supply is the blood.

The Blood Type Test will determine both ABO and Rh type. This test classifies blood into four possible types: A, AB, B and O. The Rhesus System is the plus or minus sign that comes after the letter, e.g. A+ or A-. Each test kit will type one person. FDA-approved for educational use. Results can be read within 2 minutes.

The only blood typing kit endorsed by Dr. D'Adamo.

Test includes:

* 1 (one) Eldoncard 2511 in air and moisture proof envelope
* 4 (four) Eldonsticks
* 1 (one) Skin Cleansing Swab (70% Isopropyl-Alcohol)
* 1 (one) Safety Lancet
* 1 (one) Micropipette (20 microliter/drop)

How to Use the Blood Type Test



Performing the blood type test is easy. After first cleaning with the supplied alcohol prep pad, the index or middle finger is lanced with the sterile disposable lancet.



The hand is the turned downward and a drop of blood is placed on top of each of the four teeth of the comb.



The comb is then applied to the card and stirred for two minutes.


The results are then read from the card. Total time to results is less than five minutes.

They should make this a little easier by raising the sides of each circle (embossing them) so the water can not move farther then you want it too. It doesn't replace the accuracy of having blood tested in the lab, but it's simple to use, cheaper than a blood draw, and less time consuming than going to the doctor. I'd recommend using scissors to open the metal foil package that the card comes in. When I opened mine at the divot in the foil, I ended up ripping the foil open and tearing part of the card - thankfully not the sample areas. Once opened, the instructions in the package were very easy to follow, I didn't bother with the video. The only other issue I ran into was with the safety lancet. In fiddling with it, I set it off, and since it's a one time use item, I was unable to use it to prick my finger. I ended up using a sewing needle instead. Aside from those bumps in the road (which were operator error), the kit was easy to use - a drop of water, a drop of blood, turn the card 4x, and you have your results.
