3.0 out of 5 stars Good for my outdoor use, March 21, 2011

Unit works pretty well for as inexpensive as it is. I wish they would be more clear of how big of an SD card you can use, I think a 2GB card was the max I could use. I have not tried the usb port. Movies play great. The only draw back is it takes some getting use to, to navigate through the mp3's on the SD card if you use folders on it and the screen display is a bit generic....I would buy this again though for what I use it for.....

This reciever worked about 3 hours before it died. It wouldn't turn on at all. I went through my entire wire system of my boat before I hooked my old deck back up and it fired up instantly. It had everything I wanted in theory, and looked great... but that's about it. NOT recommend.

I bought the Marine in-dash believing it to be a good sturdy unit. I drive a Jeep and thought that with all the dust and sand I encounter, I need something that would stand up to the elements. I took me a long time to find a shop that could install it. But I finally did.. unfortunately this put me past the return time.
Because a week after installation the screen in the face plate stopped working. It just fuzzed out a couple times and then went to white. I can't see even see the clock, channels, or set the controls. Oh well. Oh and no I hadn't had a chance to go off roading so the unit hadn't taken a beating yet.
