Modern, but warmed by the cherry inserts. My bedroom set is turn-of-the-century, and I was pleasantly surprised at how well the stand blends in. Setup is a breeze, but be aware that the package as shipped is VERY heavy due to the thick glass shelves. Once you get the package open and separate the shelves, assembly is fast and simple. I don't have a lot of room for my 42" widescreen TV so wanted a stand that was narrow on the bottom. All the parts fit together well and of good quality (design, fit, and installation). shelves design for double stacking components and all cables/cords run out the back and out of sight.Only issues I have are that there are not many lift points since the glass shelves are loose and the Bello logo is plastered over the front wood panel (cheapens the look on a non-cheap item). Personally I was hoping for a shorter design, but Bello seems to only make the tall "bedroom" style or the short style that is too wide for my space (this if for the living room) - I quickly got used to the TV height, however.
