However, my main concern is, why bother to get this gadget at all? Charge with a usb connection when you can and, when no usb port is available, just use regular AA batteries! Adapters, over-heating, errors, possible damage, another country......it ain't worth it. The best bet is to buy a second battery pack and charge it through the USB port. This review is from: Flip Video Power Adapter (Electronics) I realized soon after getting my flip HD that I can find so much to shoot that I burn up a battery pack and need to recharge it and that sometimes it's most convenient to recharge it via a wall outlet rather than a computer. Here are some examples,,, We went on a week long cruise and I had no computer access but I could recharge with this because there were electrical outlets everywhere. I was shooting a wedding reception for a friend and forgot to recharge before leaving but by the time the wedding was over I grabbed my fully charged unit where I plugged it into the church wall behind a table and I was ready to shoot the full reception without losing any power. We went to Myrtle Beach and stayed in a friend's condo. No computer there to recharge but I just popped in my camcorder at night before going to sleep and it was always ready to shoot in the morning. I have even found outlets at the airport (near soda fountains and vending machines)... I was doing my mother's hair tonight and I was about 1/4th of the way finished when I noticed the iron wasn't heating up anymore. It went from being normal hot to just warm, to now just cold. The red light indicator is dim and not flashing as it should be when it's at the desired temperature. I will not try to contact FHI for a replacement because they will not give a warranty to anyone who doesn't buy it from a salon or their website. I had such a great experience with the Runway that it pains me to have to go find another one. I have been hearing that the CHIs break easily these days and I'm not sure about the other brands out there. Does anyone make a flat iron that lasts more than a year or two? I did notice FHI changed the packaging of the box to be in red and black and show the runway and a girl... I've been natural since August 2005, so I've tried my fair share of straightening tools. It is definately the new age way to exercise. Those heavy weights will become a thing of the past. I have a complete home gym with weights, stair stepper, bike, treadmill etc.. My arms were starting to look bad because I was traveling alot and could not find the time to workout so I bought this to take on the road and was I surprised at how quickly my muscles started to pop! Get rid of all of those bulky weights that could also do some harm and injury. You can use this anywhere...even in bed! I have purchased many items that I have returned which did not work. Actually, I liked this so much that I was getting ready to purchase another for my daughter and could not believe that there was only one review so I thought I should give it another. It only takes a few minutes a few times a week using this piece of equipment for your arme to look great! I saw this product on their website, for about $20 more than on Amazon. I had a gap in my workout routine between Martial Arts class, Total Gym (yes I will buy what Chuck tells me to), and the post workout use of the EMS unit. When I use the EMS stim unit, I often will walk around the house. I wanted to get a tandem resistance routine with the EMS running. Oftentimes, if I try to get in a Total Gym workout at the same time, it is disconcerting. I purchased this product to get upper body resistance training in while at the same time running an EMS routine. The motion is very simple. Being driven by a piston.
